Bio

Kimberly Rauscher is a classical violinist with experience in orchestral, chamber, solo, sacred, and community performance settings. She attended the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, where she studied with a concentration in string music, and later earned her Bachelor of Music in Classical Violin Performance from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. While at Belmont, she graduated magna cum laude and received Dean’s List honors throughout her undergraduate studies.

During her time at Belmont, Kimberly performed extensively with the Belmont University Symphony Orchestra and served as Principal Second Violin for the 2025–2026 season. Her orchestral experience includes performances in the President’s Concert, Sounds of Belmont, the CODA National Conference, Christmas at Belmont, and An Evening of Hope with Andrea Bocelli & Friends. She also performed as part of Andrea Bocelli’s Romanza 30th Anniversary World Tour, appearing with the tour orchestra at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama, and Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

Kimberly’s performance experience also includes weddings, Catholic liturgical services, chamber ensembles, and community events. She was selected to perform in the orchestra for SEEK 2026, a major national Catholic conference hosted by the Fellowship of Catholic University Students, known as FOCUS. As part of the conference orchestra, Kimberly performed for two liturgies before an audience of approximately 16,000 people.

Now residing in the majestic Lowcountry of South Carolina, Kimberly continues to share her music through performance, education, and community engagement. For the 2026–2027 season, she will serve as the Beaufort Symphony Youth Orchestra liaison, supporting young musicians and helping strengthen connections within the local music community.

In addition to her work as a performer, Kimberly has supported young musicians through string education programs, including Strings Explosion Summer Camp and Belmont String Crossings Camp. In these roles, she assisted with rehearsals, chamber music, ensemble activities, and performance preparation for middle and high school string students. She is currently accepting new violin students for private instruction.

Kimberly’s work as a violinist is shaped by her classical training, expressive musicianship, and dedication to meaningful performance. Whether performing on stage, playing for a sacred liturgy, collaborating in chamber music, or teaching the next generation of violin students, she brings professionalism, care, and musical sensitivity to each setting.
